Since a young age I’ve had a love for combining different sizes, materials, color and texture. By applying it to furniture-making as well as arts and crafts over the years, my skill has evolved and refined into a finer art. I have found the beauty of combining all of these elements into one creation. It fuels me too see these elements combined come together in a fine piece of cutting beauty. Kifaru Blades was born from the inspiration of a brother a deep love for the craft and the wild landscapes of South Africa. Every knife is built from scratch — hand-grinding, differential heat treatment, and patient finishing.
